Paraspinal digital infrared imaging
Paraspinal digital infrared imaging (PDII) is a painless, non-invasive, reliable diagnostic test that measures the heat emitted from the body’s surface. Performed by moving a sensitive scanning device along the sides of the spine, PDII instantly displays how the nervous system is functioning. The PDII scanner is used during every visit to determine when an adjustment is needed. After an adjustment, the scanner is again used to show that a correction has been achieved.
Typical office visit after initial visit
Each office visit begins with paraspinal digital infrared imaging. If necessary, this is followed by a specific adjustment(s). Our office strives to provide you and your family with the most specific chiropractic care possible. Our primary focus of care is the upper cervical spine because for the majority of patients this is most effective. We will however, examine and care for your entire spine as needed.
After each adjustment the patient lies down in a private recoup suite, giving the body time to adapt to the adjustment. We then bring the patient back into the treatment room for a post scan, allowing us to compare the before and after scans to determine the results of the adjustment. It is important to us to ensure that every adjustment results in positive change.
