Dr. Tina’s Food Blog – Grapefruit and Cinnamon

I get asked daily by patients what I eat. After I began this food blog to share with them I decided I better add my snack options as well. Change up your afternoon snack fest with something as simple as cinnamon! It really does change everything. Bonus – it is a powerful antioxidant and super good for you. When I have grapefruit for my snack I sprinkle a LOT of cinnamon on it. So good! I do also sometimes have a handful of nuts with it. Right now my favorite are unsalted organic cashews.

What else can you do with cinnamon? My daughter loves to cut up an apple, drizzle it with honey, and top with cinnamon. Cinnamon can also be added to oatmeal, coffee, tea….
